2. Sprinkler Systems

Another option is to use sprinkler systems. Generally, these systems have a complicated installation process since they not only have to be installed in your yard, they also have to be hooked into your plumbing system. Generally, these systems are buried a few inches under the ground and have sprinklers placed every so often. The sprinklers can be always up, or they can be set so that they pop up when the water pressure kicks in. Systems with sprinkler heads that recede are often easier to use because they make it so that the yard can be mowed more easily. Sprinkler heads that are always up can get easily damaged by having a mower run over them, so will mean whoever is mowing your yard will have to be careful to avoid them so that they don't cause expensive damage to your sprinkler system.
